Page Scully! Mulder Wants To Do Another Movie!

david-duchovny-actor-david-duchovny-is-desperate-to-make-a-third-x-files.jpg
We're sure there are still enough fans out there who would relish in a reunion, so hopefully FOX will get behind this.
David Duchovny, best known to the world as Agent Fox Mulder, has revealed to sources that he would be very interested in making another X-Files movie. Futhermore, he reveals that his partner in crime, Gillian Anderson, and the man behind the series, Chris Carter, are both "game" to reprise the franchise as well. All that's standing in their way is the studio and the story. He explains:
"I’m always game. It always rides on Fox. [Chris Carter] is game. I know [Gillian Anderson] is game. We all, at this point, love the show. We all, at this point, would love to work with one another again. We’re all good friends and miss one another, and miss working together.
We worked together so hard for so long, so closely. We had some ups and downs personally, sure. But in the end, they are really like family to me. We’re all like this little X-Files family and I, for one, would love to continue. And I think there’s a lot left in the show. You know? And I think we can continue to make good movies.

It’s just a matter of spending enough on a movie that can compete in the summertime. We made a movie and released it in the summer, but it wasn’t really a blockbuster movie. And it got kind of overshadowed by the bigger ones. So, we’re saying, make us big. We’ll fight with the big boys.”
Money we're sure FOX has got. Honestly, if you guys could pitch an awesome story, we can't see why they wouldn't shell out for a third flick. The studios LOVE to roll with franchises and your's was a pretty big deal back in the day.
Would U want to see another X-Files movie get made?

This Time - PR Fraud!

This Time - PR Fraud!

I personally approve every celebrity that wants to borrow - and not buy - our pieces. I am not easily seduced by the power of celebrity and I don't believe that this influences our sales, so why not only send out pieces to the people I like and respect? We can't influence who buys the designs but we can control who borrows them.
The other day our press office emailed me asking if it was ok to borrow pieces for a shoot with Julianne Moore. Whoo-hoo - hell yes! She is a great actress, smart and amazingly beautiful, a perfect brand ambassador! The shoot is for the New York Times and it is about Julianne's favourite places in London - and the Lara Bohinc store is her favourite shop! Really? How come I have never seen a photo of her with our pieces? Excited I ask the girls in the press office to do some research and to find photos of her wearing our products. I have never seen them myself but you never know, I don't read celebrity gossip papers so I am not really an authority on that. But nothing, no photo as such....
They have requested to borrow only one item - the Lunar eclipse bag in python, our classic design that has been selling for years now and it costs nearly £2,000.
A week later when the return is due, we become suspicious: the stylist's number is not working and when we call the New York Times they confirm our fears: no, there is no photo shoot with Julianne Moore and they don't know that stylist either. Julianne's assistant confirms that she is neither working with the aformentioned stylist nor shooting for the New York Times....
Arghhhh - fraud, it happened again! We have been tricked in a quite clever way- they knew to choose a celebrity that I would approve of and banked on us not checking them up.
Serves me right- and I thought I wouldn't be fooled by some celebrity carrot!

I don’t produce films to make money – Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar movie 200x300
Actor-producer Akshay Kumar, who sounded a bit guarded about the fate of his forthcoming film “Patiala House”, Sunday said he doesn’t produce films to make money.
“I don’t produce films for money. I make those films, which I personally want to make. I don’t know the fate of ‘Patiala House’ but I am very happy to be a part of it and I have enjoyed working in it. I am not worried whether I would make money from it or not,” Akshay told reporters at the music launch of “Patiala House” at Whistling Woods here.
“Today, I am in a position where returns don’t bother me much… I only think that what new I can offer to my audience,” he added.
The actor mentioned that none of the films from his Hari Om Productions has upset him or his distributor so far commercially.
“I have produced eight films so far and none of them were unsuccessful commercially, and neither my distributors had to suffer any losses,” said Akshay.

Akhay maintains that actors like him, Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan cannot venture for films like “Udaan” or “Tere Bin Laden” because high box office returns are expected from their films.
“I have seen the business of these kinds of films. I go and watch every film; I understand what the audience wants. When a person like me or Shah Rukh or Salman do a film, we have to collect a certain amount of money in the box office so that the distributors and exhibitors get their money back.”
“So we cannot do this kind of films because there is a very niche audience for such kind of cinema. These films make a maximum of Rs.8 crore. Commercial cinema makes business of Rs.70 crore. Films like ‘Dabaang’ make Rs.140 crore. So you have to make such kind of films,” said Akshay.
He however believes that in the near future, films like “Udaan” would cater to a maximum audience.
“A film like ‘Udaan’ has a certain kind of audience who would go and watch them. Maybe as time progress, more people would start watching these kind of films. In around four years, people would watch only this kind of cinema,” said Akshay.

Kate Gosselin Moves to Hold Jon in Contempt

Kate Gosselin is asking a judge to hold ex-hubby Jon Gosselin in contempt of court, TMZ has learned.
0110_jon_kate_gosselin_TMZ_ex_3
We've learned Kate's lawyers filed a Petition for Contempt of Custody Order last Thursday.
Sources connected with the case tell TMZ ... Kate believes Jon is squarely violating the judge's custody order -- prohibiting either of them from talking about the case -- by allegedly selling information about the case and tweeting his displeasure of the judge's various decisions.

We're told Kate is claiming Jon is willfully disobeying the orders, mostly to make a buck, and she wants the judge to modify the custody agreement to protect the kids from their alleged money-grubbing dad.
We're told a hearing is set for later this month.

The Perfect Christmas Gift

The Perfect Christmas Gift

I have the perfect Christmas gift for you to buy any female close to you this Christmas- please see above. This very funky necklace has been designed by Vivienne Westwood for Reprieve, the charity I work for and feel very strongly about. This is a perfect way to donate some money to an extremely important cause at the same time as giving someone you like a lovely gift. It costs £105, with all profits going direct to Reprieve. And you can buy it here:
Reprieve is a human rights charity that uses the law to save people all around the world from dire situations. The people I work with daily (a mix of lawyers, investigators and other volunteers like me), get innocent men and women out of jail and off death row. There is nothing much sadder to me than imagining an innocent person being locked up and being abused, away from their families and loved ones. I mean can you imagine! Imagine your dad suddenly disappearing and not knowing where he’s gone, and then finding out he’s in a military camp somewhere being tortured with no access to a lawyer or anyone to help?
This ACTUALLY HAPPENS! Reprieve gets calls from relatives of people in situations like these quite often and helps them. Vivienne feels as strongly about this as I do, and we’re both hoping that this necklace will help to raise essential funds for Reprieve.
For more information and to understand what I’m talking about a bit better, please visit:

The Perfect Christmas Gift

The funds raised from this necklace will go towards providing legal council to those who otherwise couldn’t afford it, or wouldn’t know how to access it. Some of those that Reprieve represent are guys inside Guantanamo Bay. I have met a few former Guantanamo prisoners now, and it makes my heart heavy when I think about the torture that they endured, the humiliation, the inhumane abuse they received at the hands of the US military. These are men who were in the wrong place at the wrong time, and got sold for bounties to the Americans. Did you know the Americans literally dropped leaflets down from planes offering bounties of $5000 to anyone who handed over a ‘terror suspect?’ To a Pakistani villager that was enough to feed their kids for five years. And that was how the majority in Guantanamo got there. I know it sounds mad - it is mad! And there are still innocent men inside there who need your help! Please click here to buy one of these limited edition necklaces, and help save the lives of men and women who need your help this Christmas:
